Season 2

8: You can be robbed twice in the blink of an eye
Do not let theft incidences hold you back, even if the occurrences happen too close apart. You are probably better off that losses happened when they did. It could have been worse. Be grateful.

9: A new dawn comes
When you least expect it, things might change for the better to provide the jumpstart that reignites your engine. Keep your life jumpers close for when the time to use them comes. You just never know!

10: The mind can be nurtured towards excellence
Forget the narrative that some people were born sharper than others (okay maybe it is true, I don’t know). What I do know is that it takes the right environment, exposure, mentorship and motivation to unleash brilliance. Don’t underestimate your mental strength and abilities.

11: To stay ahead you must put in the work
To become an alpha, you must fight hard for it. To stay at the top, you must fight even harder because consistency is more difficult. It takes a proper strategy and good execution to have it all. If you are lucky – to this duo add good luck.

12: Identify and nurture your talents
Believe in yourself, allow yourself to dream and go for it! The worst that can happen is coming to the sad realization that you were not as talented as you’d imagined. The best that can happen is the resounding discovery of how good you are.

13: Some institutions are founded to rewrite your future
Talk of utter coincidence and alignment of destinies to suit you. It will not always be the case, but miracles do happen. On that note happy 20th anniversary to my alma mater. A special shout out to everyone who made it all possible and continues to do so. May the universe do you good wherever you are!

14: Embrace new territories and the people in them
When you find yourself in a new environment, don’t be in a rush to fit in. Take time to study the surrounding and the people in it, watch quietly but listen loudly…pay attention and understand where you are. Once you feel comfortable, blend in gradually. If it doesn’t sink, it is probably not your space, work on an exit strategy.

Until the next post, trust the process!
